Protect Your Machine

The Damaged Non Genuine Consumables Can Do To your Machine

Given that non-genuine ink and toner manufacturers are not given the intricate details of the manufacturing process of Brother printers, MFC and the Brother-specific technology behind these products, they are not able to ensure the consumables produced are suited for Brother machines.

Some reports of problems thought to arise from using non-genuine cartridges include:
  1. Compromised quality of printouts in terms of colour and definition, and fuzziness that affects print character outlines

  1. Less resistance to fading caused by passage of time or wear and tear
  2. Grainy prints and smearing that affects the performance of different mechanisms in the printer, aside from the cartridge
  3. Spillage due to improper fit with the original printing peripheral
  4. Clogging of print head that renders the printer unusable as the damage will not be covered under the product warranty
Because of this, users of non-genuine consumables may often be faced with machine damage problems.
