Scan to E-mail/Scan to OCR/Scan to image/Scan to USB /Scan to file

  1. Scan to E-mail
    Save time when scanning documents using Brother’s Scan to E-mail feature on all the multifunction printers. Just select ‘Scan to E-mail’ on the control panel of the printer and the document is scanned straight onto your PC. A new e-mail is automatically created with the scanned image as an attachment, saving you the laborious task of having to save the scanned file and then manually finding the file to attach to an e-mail.
  2. Scan to OCR
    Scan data with OCR capability which will convert image data into text data.
  3. Scan to image
    Scan data into a desired application software. Supported applications include Adobe® Acrobat® , Adobe® PhotoShop® , Paint, and more.
  4. Scan to USB
    Brother’s Scan to USB enables you to scan documents direct to a USB memory device without the need to start up your PC. This means you can make digitised copies of documents immediately, including handwritten meeting notes, certificates, business cards, and drawings so you can be sure everything has been captured on the USB memory drive for later use.
  5. Scan to file
    Save scanned data into a selected folder for easy information sharing.

Scan to FTP

Scan to FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method of transferring scanned documents, either in-house or over the Internet, to a location where they can be stored (FTP site). It has 2 main benefits: It is an excellent way to electronically archive your paper documents and it is an efficient way of sharing large scanned documents with anyone anywhere in the world. Scanning documents to an FTP site from your Brother Multi-Function Centres also eliminates the need for a PC, therefore making the process much faster.

Scan to e-mail through LDAP

LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) enhances Brother's scan to E-mail feature, by giving you the ability to search for E-mail addresses in your E-mail server rather than manually entering them on the machine control panel. This not only saves you time but is very easy to use. You can simply insert your document, select scan to E-mail, search for your E-mail address and send your document.

Two-sided duplex scanning, copying, faxing

Two sided (or duplex) scanning, copying and faxing can make daily office functions far more efficient.
